After careful preparation and construction for half a year, PWG announced the inauguration of its Shanghai-based exhibition center at “Yuppie Night”on June 4. More than 300 people attended the music party, where a number of industry elites and noted designers jointly celebrated the opening ceremony of PWG’s exhibition center in Shanghai, exchanged views about the trends in office space design and witnessed the return of PWG to Shanghai, the most vibrant market in China.

“I guess many of you find PWG familiar and strange at the same time.”

Joe Zhou, president of PWG, gave a brief introduction of the company.

“PWG was founded in 2012. Core members of the company have more than 20 years of experience in the furniture field. PWG was formerly an exclusive distributor of an international brand and was a trusted service provider for a large number of global companies and important clients in China. As one of the key players in high-end office furniture, we have accumulated extensive experience and built a high-performing sales team. During brand upgrading at the beginning of 2020, PWG started working with a more competitive international furniture brand and transformed into a global leader in office space design and furniture solutions. Enrico Raggi, business director of the world-renowned Italian furniture brand Cassina, extended sincere congratulations and expressed confidence in the partnership with PWG’s expert team from thousands of miles away.

Enrico Raggi announced the rollout of the new Cassina Pro commercial furniture collection. Based on the original design classics, the new collection uses fabrics that are more suitable for public space, adds the new product feature of cable management, improves the usage in offices and provides complete test reports. As the only authorized distributor in China, PWG will team up with Cassina to provide optimum office furniture solutions.

Mr. Jeff Shi, a representative of Cassina Greater China, gave a briefing on the brand history and sent his best wishes.

Rio, head of Asia, Vitra, a prestigious designer furniture and home accessories brand in the world, made a video to extend their wishes and expressed appreciation for the establishment of the partnership between PWG and Vitra. The two sides share the same values and attach great importance to the integration of design with spatial layout. Both are willing to work with designers and customers to create personalized and artistic spaces.

Mr. Allen Huang, head of Vitra’s China unit, shared with the attendees cases that prove the consistency in values between PWG and Vitra.

Mr. Gianmaria Mezzalira, founder and CEO of MIG, expressed his congratulations for the opening of PWG’s exhibition center and appreciation for the support of PWG’s president Zhou Jia and wished for closer collaboration between the two sides and greater success in Shanghai.

The exhibition hall of PWG is located at 1000, Changping Road, Jing’an District, Shanghai. The two-floor building takes up 900 square meters and exhibits works of more than 10 brands such as VITRA, SINATICA, MOGG, K+N, SITLAND, B-LINE and CITSOL. Different brand personalities combined with different application scenarios will surely inspire creativity in visitors and help them bring a new look in the workplace.
